Capita moltissime volte di vedere una persona esperta degustare un vino e non capire effettivamente che cosa stia percependo.
Molte volte, prima di immergermi in questo mondo, mi sono sentito quasi in difetto nei confronti di questo settore.
But do you know why?

Non conoscevo neppure quale logica quell’individuo di fronte a me stesse seguendo.
But what will the taster look for in that glass?
In primis si deve assicurare che non vi siamo difetti e anomalie that can immediately consider the product as not quality, should it strongly compromise that particular wine.
Successivamente the taster's task is to go in depth.
Esistono diversi approcci degustativi che hanno come obiettivo delle considerazioni diverse:
– The descriptive approach with an overall judgment
– The critical approach with a qualitative evaluation
Which is the best?
Diciamo che non esiste effettivamente un miglior approccio because an excellent taster becomes one over time and with experiences, having well in mind and automating all the basic principles that follow during a tasting.
But what does it mean to taste a wine...
Significa valutarne le caratteristiche organolettiche, individuarne magari le best methods of use and understand what kind of work is behind it.
Lo devo capire e percepire.
As I get better I can individuare il possibile abbinamento, lo posso confrontare con altri prodotti degustati andandolo a collocare sul mercato come “mass market” o “premium”, oppure addirittura individuare la nazione di produzione o la zona.
Where you want to go, only you can decide, and like all things, you just have to start to understand if it is the right world to discover.
One thing I can tell you... it will definitely be worth it!!!
